Design

How does your product communicate with its users? This is one of the most important questions any entrepreneur must address. The words and shapes you use, their typography, their palette, and the structure that contains them all define your product's identity. These aspects should all be conscious selections that reinforce the essence of the product. Each detail should educate your users about what your product does and how they should use it.
At Proto we create a consistent visual language tailored to your product that communicates your vision to your users. And we make it look nice too.

Build the right things. At the right time.
At the end of the day, the thing has to do what it’s supposed to. Every application entails hundreds of implementation choices. It is likely that many of its features have been built thousands of times before: user account creation and profile management; storing data securely in the cloud; retrieving content from web service APIs; rendering information in a natural looking layout; updating behind the scenes in real-time; etc.
At Proto, we’ve built all these capabilities. And in a lot of different ways. We have experience with a lot of different platforms so we know which best practices to use and which pitfalls to avoid. Our mission is to provide you with rock solid code that you can build on top of, not throwaway code you’ll have to redo later.
